A flock of bassoons from FCS (1 alumni & 2 who started at FCS but moved on during HS) playing Christmas Carols at the Missoula Public Library to celebrate double reed Christmas!
The HS Guitar class brought Christmas carols to the elementary kiddos who loved it and sang along with all their might!
Our 6th and 7th grade students are working hard to make "portable hugs" for the residents and The Living Centre! Mrs. P's late mom coined the term "portable hug" when she was battling cancer. A portable hug is a small, cozy lap blanket that mimics the feeling of being embraced.

Florence Carlton Middle School is participating in our first annual SOAR to Support Community Service Project! Each grade voted for a non-profit organization within our extended community to support with donations during December. The 6th grade voted to support Youth Homes of Missoula, the 7th grade voted to support the Humane Society of Western Montana, and the 8th grade voted to support the YWCA of Missoula. Please see the attached flyers of donation items and QR codes for monetary donation links and, if applicable, Amazon wishlists.
Mrs. Peterson's room, room 119, is the drop-off location for Youth Homes donations and the Humane Society of Western Montana donations, and Mrs. Hendricksen's room, room 106, is the drop-off location for donations to the YWCA of Missoula.

Our FCMS Can the Cats/Can the Griz food drive was hugely successful! We donated 681 food items, totaling 571 pounds, to Pantry Partners in Stevensville! Thank you for your donations and assistance in providing for our Bitterroot community!
