FCHS CNA Pathway First Cohort
FCHS is excited to introduce its first cohort of students who will participate in the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Short-Term Skills-Based Training program, which is being offered in partnership with UM Bitterroot College.
This training equips students with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to work as nurse aides in various healthcare settings, including long-term care, home care, hospice, and acute care facilities. Students will be prepared to take the Montana Certified Nurse Aide licensing exam upon completion. Information about how to apply to next year's cohort will be shared with students during the 2025-2026 school year.

National School Counseling Week 2025, “School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), is Feb. 3–7, 2025, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do.
National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
The special week honoring school counselors provides recognition for school counselors who “implement comprehensive school counseling programs, a vital part of the educational process for all students as they meet the challenges of the 21st century,”

Wood Shop
Are you looking to hone your basic woodworking skills or perfect an already experienced skill set? Join our Wood Shop Class, designed for everyone from beginners to seasoned woodworkers who need a place and the right equipment to bring their projects to life.

Duration: 6 weeks

Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

This course provides hands-on opportunities for skill development and project creation in a fully equipped woodshop. Whether you're crafting a small project or tackling something more advanced, this class will meet your needs!
Preparation:
Participants are encouraged to email their project ideas to the instructor prior to the first class for review and planning.

A flock of bassoons from FCS (1 alumni & 2 who started at FCS but moved on during HS) playing Christmas Carols at the Missoula Public Library to celebrate double reed Christmas!
The HS Guitar class brought Christmas carols to the elementary kiddos who loved it and sang along with all their might!
